Lecture "Meditation"

If you find yourself in the midst of change, feeling overwhelmed, and longing to calm your mind and restore clarity and direction in your life, this lecture was created especially for you.
This is not another theoretical talk, but an encounter that invites you to experience the possibility of creating inner peace and reconnecting with your deepest personal resources.
During the lecture, I share my personal journey into the world of meditation and the path of Jnana Yoga, explaining how a consistent practice can become a simple, powerful, and accessible tool for coping with daily pressures. We’ll explore essential questions such as “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?”, reflect on how technology and modern life affect our inner stillness, and discover how to preserve our natural intelligence in a world overflowing with stimuli.
The lecture is for anyone seeking mental stability, clarity, and calm, for those who want practical tools to handle family challenges, improve work productivity, or simply feel that there is more to discover beyond the routine.
No prior experience in meditation is required — only openness and a genuine willingness to learn.
At the end, you’ll leave with new insights, a deeper understanding of the foundations of meditation, and a renewed desire to begin your own inner journey.
Next lecture: December 31, 2025, 18:00, at the Green Complex in Ruppin.
FAQ
What is meditation according to Patanjali?
According to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, meditation — called Dhyāna (ध्यान) — is the seventh limb of the Eightfold Path (Ashtanga Yoga).
Patanjali defines meditation as the continuous, unbroken flow of attention toward a single object.
When concentration (Dharana) becomes steady and effortless, it transforms into meditation (Dhyana). In this state, the mind no longer jumps between thoughts or distractions — awareness becomes like a gentle, unceasing stream flowing toward one point.
What is Jnana Yoga?
Jnana Yoga, often called the path of wisdom, is a traditional yogic method focused on self-inquiry and understanding the true nature of the self. Rather than relying on belief or ritual, Jnana Yoga invites us to observe the mind, question our assumptions, and see reality as it is.
Through guided reflection, awareness practices, and meditative inquiry, we learn to distinguish between temporary thoughts, roles, and emotions — and the deeper awareness that witnesses them.
In simple terms:
Jnana Yoga is the practice of recognizing who you truly are beyond the noise of the mind, and living from clarity, freedom, and inner peace.
